Backpack Back Track

By HolidayTripsTips - March 24th, 2011, 12:44, Category: General

I travelled to Northern Spain, and back to the South. I did not want to go Costa del Sol, plastered  of houses and hotels, I wanted a private place near to a beach with charm.

We moved to the Costa de la Luz, which was much more natural and less traveled by tourists. Starting from Bologna, we landed at the airport Sevilla very close to the coast of Iberia.

Beautiful beach not far from where we stayed in Costa del Luz.

Arriving there began what turned into an unpleasant adventure.  A hostel we had booked had decided not to keep our reservation, and put other people in our room without telling us!

They started using an excuse that the credit card that we gave was not valid. We knew it was because the credit card, like our

backpackers insurance was used for the whole vacation.

Reservations are not strictly valid, especially in Hostels.

It is better to call one or two days again before travelling and ask again for confirmation.

We learned from that time. Luckily, we were not in a busy place so we were able to go to another good hotel with comfortable rooms, and complete with everything we needed.
